Bible Study 9.23.20
We will not have a live video tonight (9/23), but I wanted to share a scripture of hope with you: 1 Peter 5:6-7 reminds us to “Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God, so that he may exalt you at the proper time, casting all your cares on him, because he cares about you.”
Do you have any cares right now? Any burden you are trying to struggle through? If so, read that last statement again, “He (Jesus) cares about you!” That is load lifting news right there my friend. Stop carrying all the weight - cast them on Jesus - He will help! He LOVES you!
Keep praying for recovery for
Max Slayton, Robert Shaw, and the many others waiting on the Lord at this time.
Jesus loves you and so do I!!

June 17, 2020 -- A Regathering Prayer Message
QUESTIONS ARE EASY
By Pastor, Brian West
Questions are easy...Answers are sometimes hard.
We all ask question! Questions are what help us learn. Remember being a child or having childrens and the endless questions that are asked?
Did you know, God is open to your questions? Even if they intended to challenge Him - He is not closed off to your questions. He desires to show you His nature and one way we can discover more about God’s nature is by asking good questions.
Did you know the Bible is filled with a variety of questions? Even God asked Adam and Eve, “Where are you?” (Gen 3:9) And Jesus repeated the question the Psalmist made, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” (Psalm 22:1 & Matthew 27:46). Jesus asked His own disciples, “Who do the people say I am?” (Matt 16:13) and more to the point, “What about you, who do you say I am?” (Matt. 16:15).
Let us allow that question to sink deep into our hearts. Who do we say Jesus is?
Some say he was a great teacher, and with those people I agree wholeheartedly.
Other say Jesus was a prophet, one who could speak truth about the current and things to come. I really like the thought of Jesus being a prophet.
Simultaneously, some people say, Jesus was a king, just not like we had seen or imagined before. With this group of believers, I also think Jesus is a glorious King. But is this the sum of who Jesus is?
Can Jesus be all three at one time? My resounding answer - absolutely! Jesus is a great Teacher, Prophet, King even a the Great High Priest. And yet, He is such a personal God He knows you by name. He knows your thoughts. That is an almighty God!
With this view of Jesus in mind, let us ask the all important question, “Who do you say He is?” If you do not know Jesus personally today. Reach out your hand to Him. He is there. Did you know one of the simplest and sweetest prayers is, “Jesus, will you come into my heart?” If you do know Jesus, dive deeper in love with Him like never before.
